Job Description:

* We are seeking an experienced Digital Asset Management Specialist to develop and execute asset management policies, procedures, and processes.
* The ideal candidate will ensure assets are managed in a centralized database and utilize existing toolsets to analyze, review, and track asset data.
* This role involves integrating and managing project assets within the CMDB.
* The successful applicant will develop asset control processes to monitor accountability identification, maintenance, location, and contracts.
* Key responsibilities include managing asset reconciliation, sanitization, and disposal agreements.
* The candidate will undertake technical assessments to evaluate the fit, form, and function of assets.
* Responsibilities also include managing hardware asset warranty and support contracts.
* The specialist will collaborate with management to define cost savings, asset compliances, and service improvements.
* Regular meetings will be held with Product Managers and Design Engineering teams to ensure IT needs and service requirements are being met.
* Monitoring, managing, and resolving Support Request tickets is also a key responsibility.
* The role involves overseeing ICT hardware stores, consumables, and associated Warehouse Facilities.
* Both deployed and non-deployed ICT hardware will be managed by the successful applicant.
* Scheduled audits must be met and carried out (both internal and external).
* The candidate will undertake regular reviews of the COSPOs Asset Management and Warehouse processes and procedures IAW Defence policies and guidelines.
* End of Life (EOL) assets must be disposed of IAW Defence policies and procedures.
* The specialist will supervise and mentor Warehouse Officers.
* Reports will be provided to the ILS Manager on Warehouse tasks and activities.
* Reports will also be provided to the ILS Manager on Asset Management and Auditing.
* Risks and issues will be identified to the ILS Manager on an as-required basis.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Extensive experience in digital asset management.
* Strong technical skills and knowledge of CMDB systems.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
