**What can you gain from completing a traineeship through Work & Training?**
- You would be employed by Work & Training - the largest employer of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted for the duration of your traineeship.
- You would receive professional guidance from your immediate supervisors, as well as mentoring and support from a Work & Training consultant.
- The theory side of your qualification would be conducted one-on-one in the workplace, with expert tuition, by registered trainers.
On completion of your traineeship you would receive a nationally recognised **Certificate III in Dental Assisting - HLT35021.**

**Skills you will learn on the job**:
- Train to assist dentists and hygienists' chair-side.
- Gain an understanding of the instruments & dental equipment used.

- Oral pathology and physiology is covered.
- There will be the opportunity to assist with oral surgery.
- Obtain a good understanding of the administrative aspect of Dental Assisting.
