About the role
As an EL2 level Agile Coach, you'll support leadership and delivery teams to embed agile principles and best practices across the organisation. You'll work closely with product managers, service designers, and delivery teams to uplift capability, improve delivery effectiveness, and drive a mindset of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
* Coach cross-functional teams in agile practices, including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban
* Support leadership in adopting agile ways of working and adaptive governance
* Lead agile ceremonies and provide guidance to Scrum Masters and Product Owners
* Facilitate workshops and retrospectives to drive team performance and alignment
* Assess current maturity and provide tailored coaching roadmaps
* Collaborate with stakeholders to remove blockers and foster agile culture
* Champion continuous learning and feedback loops across teams
About you
We're looking for a confident and adaptable leader with:
* Proven experience as an Agile Coach in complex or large-scale environments
* Experience coaching EL1/EL2 and SES stakeholders
* Deep understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
* Strong facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills
* Ability to lead through influence and adapt coaching to audience needs
* Previous experience in federal government or regulated environments
Desirable
* Experience supporting teams in the disability, social services, or tribunal sectors
* Agile certifications (e.g. ICAgile, SAFe Program Consultant, Certified Scrum Professional)
Eligibility requirements
* You must be an Australian Citizen
* Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and other relevant security checks
