Project Coordination Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to drive project planning, management, and delivery. This permanent position requires strong leadership skills and effective collaboration with site personnel.
About the Role
* Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
* Liaise with key stakeholders, including internal and external team members, to allocate resources and manage project progress.
* Monitor and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Manage subcontract procurement, negotiation, and compliance with contractual agreements.
* Prepare and track monthly performance reports, analyzing variances and providing recommendations for process enhancements.
* Review financial performance and implement cost-saving initiatives to add value to the project.
* Ensure accurate allocation and coding of direct project costs, facilitating timely approval and certification of claims.
* Oversee contract management, identifying commercial claims and entitlements, and ensuring they are pursued in the best interests of the organization.
* Maintain a high standard of work and promote a strong commitment to the organization's safety culture.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Civil Engineering is desirable.
* Five+ years of project coordination experience.
* Previous experience in mining resources is advantageous.
* Strong communication and planning skills.
* Demonstrated experience in effective HSQE management.
* Ability to lead a team, influence key stakeholders, and maintain strong relationships.
* Ability to solve complex problems using logical rationale.
* Experience using Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and Jobpac are desirable.
