AlphaFit is Australia's leading manufacturer of premium fitness equipment and flooring solutions and we will soon be launching a Hasta certified sports supplements range. AlphaFit is a 100% Australian-owned family business operating from a single facility on the Gold Coast. We work with high-performance NRL, AFL, Soccer, and other sports teams, as well as commercial and home gyms.
About the Role
We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Social Media & Content Specialist with expertise in video production, photography, and editing. This role will be responsible for running the day-to-day social media channels of our new sports supplement range whilst producing high-quality, engaging visual long and short form content that supports our marketing, social media, and communications strategies across our Equipment, Flooring and Supplement businesses. The ideal team member will be technically proficient and creatively driven, with a strong eye for storytelling and a high attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Co-ordination & Management
2. Social media strategy: Understanding how to plan and execute campaigns across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).
3. Content calendars: Ability to plan and schedule content to maintain consistency.
4. Community management: Responding to comments/messages, engaging with followers, and building online communities.
5. Analytics & reporting: Measuring reach, engagement, conversions; using tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social to refine strategies.
6. Influencer & UGC Management: Manage influence relationships and content creation.
7. Content Creation
* Content creation : Strong ability to produce engaging content — written posts, graphics, photography (Plan, Shoot & Edit), short-form video (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and long-form content. Develop concepts and storyboards and ensure that the footage captured is high quality using professional video equipment, audio and lighting, and reflects brand guidelines. Regularly feature in content across platforms – including TikToks, Reels, product demos, and behind-the-scenes videos.
* Copywriting : Crafting compelling captions, headlines, and campaign copy that align with brand voice.
* Design : Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Animate) or similar tools. Experience in or have a strong interest in using AI apps and software.
* Storytelling : Turning brand values and campaigns into narratives that connect with audiences. Ability to adapt content for multiple platforms and formats (Reels, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, ads, etc.).
Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience in content creation i.e. video production, photography, editing.
* Strong proficiency in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom).
* Solid understanding of social media platforms and content requirements.
* Ability to operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment confidently.
* Strong storytelling ability with a creative eye for detail.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
* A portfolio showcasing video, photography, and editing work and examples of social media channels managed.
* Desirable: Strong ability to design and produce engaging animations to enhance video and digital content.
