We are seeking a seasoned Environment Health and Safety Specialist to join our expanding national health and safety consulting team in Melbourne.
About the Role
* Develop and implement comprehensive physical and psychosocial risk management strategies, audit frameworks, and analytical tools to drive client success and navigate complex operational environments.
* Foster a collaborative team environment through coaching, development, and technical expertise in health, safety, and wellbeing to lead project teams on delivery of EHS services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key business decision-makers both internally and externally.
* Identify and communicate industry trends, developments, and performance drivers relevant to clients while demonstrating a deep understanding of the marketplace.
Your Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum of five years of experience in process safety, safety in design, dangerous goods, risk management, or health and safety management systems, with a strong foundation in risk management fundamentals, WHS legislation, and management systems, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven project management experience in dynamic environments, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, alongside strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.
* Experience in coaching talent and developing internal and external relationships, including client management, with the ability to travel as required.
