About the role
We're currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the Pop-Up Donor Centres. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you'll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety.
As a Session Leader, you'll provide direction, inspiration and support for your team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect. You'll value self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you an even stronger leader. A day in the pop-up centre could see you:
Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors
Develop and coach teams
Physically insert and remove needles to collect donations
Act as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessments
Provide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy success
Show pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards

Leadership experience with the ability to coach and provide performance feedback
Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build a warm connection with donors
Collaborative nature with a strong sense of teamwork
Digital and technical aptitude
Clinical experience (Preferred)
Have a valid driver's licence and access to and own vehicle
Ability to travel to pop-up sites such as: Eltham, Williamstown, Preston, Sunbury, Craigieburn, Sunshine, Melton, Tarneit, and Moonee Ponds
