Kitchenhand/Bakery assistant - Afternoon ShiftAbout the roleEric's Continental has an exciting opportunity for a Kitchenhand/Bakery Assistant to join our team on a casual basis.
Working in our modern kitchen based in Laverton, VIC 3028, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and bakery production during the afternoon shift.What you'll be doingAssist the Head Chef and kitchen team with bread preparation, including washing, portioning ingredientsMaintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchenOperate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens and other appliances to support bakery productionRestock and rotate ingredients, materials and supplies as neededEnsure all work areas are clean, tidy and organised at all timesFollow all food safety and workplace health and safety proceduresWhat we\'re looking forPrior experience as a kitchenhand, bakery assistant or in a similar food preparation roleMinimum 6 months\' prior experience as a kitchenhand, bakery assistant or in a similar food preparation role (or equivalent hospitality experience)Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accuratelyGood physical stamina and the ability to be on your feet for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 20kgStrong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCommitted to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safetyFlexible and willing to work afternoon shiftsValid right to work in AustraliaWhat we offerAt Eric's Continental, we pride ourselves on providing a friendly, supportive and inclusive workplace.
