**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician with a strong focus on imprest management to join our team at Slade Pharmacy Murdoch, located in St. John of God Murdoch Hospital, Western Australia.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the supply of medications to hospital wards and clinical areas by maintaining imprest stock levels, liaising with nursing staff, and overseeing inventory accuracy.

Site Information
Established in 1994, St John of God Murdoch Hospital has recently undergone extensive redevelopment. The facility now features 507 beds, 16 operating theatres, a new medical centre, cancer centre and Western Australia's largest standalone endoscopy unit.
**About the Role**
Alongside core Pharmacy Technician duties, your primary focus will be on stock and imprest management in addition to core Pharmacy Technician duties:
Core Pharmacy
- Dispensing and supplying medications for patients.
- Entering patient-specific data into the pharmacy database.
- Handling patient queries and assisting with account enquiries.
- Liaising with hospital staff and associated personnel.
- Supporting the pharmacy team with general administrative tasks.
Imprest
- Replenishment of ward imprest stock levels to ensure medications are readily available for hospital staff.
- Maintenance of imprest areas to keep stock organised and up to date.
- Expiry date checking to ensure medication safety and compliance.
- Liaising with nurses and clinical staff to assess and adjust imprest stock levels based on patient care needs.
- Conducting six-monthly imprest reviews to optimise stock levels and minimise waste.
- Performing stocktakes of imprest locations to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Overseeing the After-Hours Cupboard to ensure essential medications remain accessible when needed
Shift Information
Monday to Friday: 07:30AM - 03:30PM.
Weekend and public holiday cover may be required on occasion.
**About You**
Essential Requirements:
- Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
- Australian working rights
- Be able to address patient needs with confidentiality, sensitivity and professionalism
- Have a high attention to detail
- The ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
