Part-Time – 3 Days per Week | Opportunity for Additional Hours

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Gardener / Horticulturist / Property Maintenance Handyman to assist with the ongoing care and upkeep of a well-maintained 12.5-acre acreage property in Tallebudgera Valley.
This is an ongoing part-time position (3 days per week) with flexibility for additional hours when required. All major plant and property maintenance equipment is supplied onsite, including tractor, excavator and ATV buggy.
Key Responsibilities
Grounds, Garden & Vehicle Maintenance
* Mowing and trimming all lawn areas
* Whipper snipping fence lines and edges
* Garden weeding and general maintenance
* Watering plants and landscaped areas
* Top-soiling and lawn seeding as required
* Collecting fallen branches and maintaining burn pile
* Removing dead or damaged branches
* Leaf blowing and collection along driveway areas
* Fence building and repairs
* Pressure washing fences as required
* Regular washing of house exterior
* Weekly removal of spider webs around house and shed
* Undertake sporadic clearing and landscaping tasks as part of property renovation requiring moderate physical activity
Vegetable Garden & Outdoor Areas
* Maintain and harvest vegetable garden
* Daily checks of pond and pool skimmer boxes
Pool & Spa Maintenance
* General pool and spa maintenance
* Weekly water testing (pH & balance) at pool shop
* Adding chemicals and salt as required
* Weekly application of Duck Off
* Monthly cleaning of pool and spa glass
Vehicles, Equipment & General Duties
* Weekly washing of vehicles
* Washing trailers as required
* Washing machinery and equipment
* Weekly check of water tank inlet for debris
* Weekly placement of household bins (Wednesdays)
About You
* Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, property maintenance or handyman roles
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscaping required
* Experience working on acreage or rural properties preferred
* Confident operating machinery (tractor, excavator & ATV experience advantageous)
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
* Able to work independently and take initiative
* Reliable, trustworthy and detail-oriented
* Farm or livestock experience required for animal care duties
* Valid full driver's licence required as company vehicle is provided for business hours
