The property features 225 rooms, 4 restaurants, poolside bars, tour desk, Resort Shop and Day Spa.
Location: Cable Beach, Broome, WA.ResponsibilitiesBalance personal preparation of high quality food with supervising and directing all kitchen personnel.Interact with internal and external customers and suppliers.Ensure product quality and service standards are consistently high.Work with the Executive Chef on menu creation.Train and develop up to 40 employees – Chefs, Apprentices and other kitchen staff.Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements at all times.Control and analyze departmental costs on an ongoing basis.Devising initiatives and strategies to ensure financial targets are met.QualificationsFormal qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.Experience in middle to upper level management within a large 4 or 5 star Hotel/Resort.Experience working in a multi-outlet Hotel/Resort is preferred but not essential.Thorough knowledge of Food Safety and other workplace health and safety practices.A current WA motor vehicle driver's license.What We OfferA competitive salaryFree on-site accommodationRelocation assistanceOther resort discountsCable Beach Club Resort is one of Australia\'s most highly-awarded resort destinations, offering career opportunities in hospitality for staff committed to excellence.
