A leading national tax team is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Associate to join their Sydney office. This challenging opportunity involves providing expert tax advice on income tax matters, focusing on complex transactions and disputes.
The successful candidate will work closely with partners and collaborate with lawyers across multiple offices on advisory matters, major projects, and high-value tax controversies. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing technically sound and commercially focused tax advice for transactions in sectors such as technology and energy
* Managing tax disputes, including transfer pricing matters, ATO engagement, ADR processes, and litigation
* Advising major Australian and global corporates on tax strategy for commercial transactions
* Supporting clients through private rulings, ATO reviews, FIRB processes, and audits
* Working closely with other practice groups to deliver integrated advice
