Senior Commercial Managers are sought after to drive business growth and strategic partnerships within Defence Services. Their responsibilities encompass understanding client contracts, identifying key risks, and developing mitigations in collaboration with subject matter experts.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual possessing commercial and contractual acumen, capable of working across the full contract and bid/project life-cycle. Experience in Commonwealth contracts is preferred, as well as knowledge of the Defence industry and operating environment.
Australian citizenship, a valid Defence Security Clearance, and successful completion of background checks, medical examinations, drug testing, and reference checks are essential requirements for this position.
This role involves working closely with Defence stakeholders to understand their needs and develop effective solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build strong relationships and ensure seamless collaboration.
