About The Role
We are seeking a qualified EN4179 Level 2 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our growing team in Cairns, QLD. You will be responsible for performing inspections in accordance with aerospace standards, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of critical components.
Key Responsibilities
Perform NDT inspections using methods such as:Ultrasonic Testing (UT)Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)Eddy Current Testing (ET) Interpret and evaluate inspection results in compliance with EN4179 requirementsPrepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and documentationEnsure all work complies with customer, regulatory, and safety standardsSupport quality assurance and continuous improvement initiativesRequirements
Current EN4179 Level 2 certification in:Ultrasonic Testing (UT)Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)Eddy Current Testing (ET) Proven experience in aerospace or aviation industry Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsGood communication and reporting abilitiesOnly shortlisted candidate will be notified.
