Position Highlights
The successful applicant will join the school with a focus on providing quality Catholic education, maximising student outcomes by offering a rich, relevant and holistic curriculum that is student centred, flexible and challenging.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced teacher with a strong academic background to join our highly successful English Faculty. This is a full time temporary (maternity leave position) commencing on Monday, 10 November 2025 until the end of Term 3, 2026. We welcome applications from recent graduates as well.

About You
As an English Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
The successful applicant will:
* support the mission and ethos of the Catholic School in the Clarion and Franciscan traditions
* show highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
* use creative and innovative teaching practices to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity and academic rigor
* exhibit knowledge of emerging technologies and show the ability to integrate these to enhance contemporary learning experiences
* be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
* demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach English from stage 4 to stage 6
* have knowledge of the new NSW curriculum
* support the literacy needs of all students
* utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
* employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
* demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being.
You will have attained:
* a tertiary qualification in Education
* eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
* Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
