Due to our exponential growth, we are seeking an Investment Analyst to join our Conquest Capital Funds Management team:
Positional Expectations & Duties:
Manage a range of critical and analytical tasks, undertaking detailed due diligence of a diverse range of assets to provide a pricing assessment, market analysis, potential and risks, and value add strategies
The successful candidate will have an have previously developed and maintained property and fund level models encompassing development feasibilities and forecast fund models
Possess the capability to undertake advanced high-level, complex financial modelling to analyse and assess properties, funds, financial benchmarking and strategies
Analysis of asset and portfolio performance against the funds' investment strategies
Collaborate with the investment team to assess and develop strategic investment recommendations
Prepare and present investment reports, financial models, approval papers, and investment memos to senior management and investors
Management of external valuation process including review and analysis
Monitor the performance of existing real estate assets, track market trends, and recommend strategies to optimise portfolio performance
Support due diligence efforts and liaise with various stakeholders to facilitate investment processes.
Review independent valuations and provide constructive feedback on external valuation reports
Manage budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Undertake feasibility studies for new acquisitions including programme, input of commercially relevant and current costs, revenues, cash flow and land values using effective analysis
Positional Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Property, Land Economics, Real Estate, Commerce, Business, Actuarial Studies, Accounting, Finance or related
You should have a minimum of 5 years of investment analytical experience with advanced skills in financial modelling and a solid understanding of the property investment market
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to establish rapport with clients and stakeholders
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Advanced analytical skills, including experience in predictive modelling and forecasting
