The P&C team reports to the Director - People &Culture and is part of the broader Corporate Services team for thebusiness and partnership of Hall & Wilcox.Reporting tothe Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Acquisition Advisor willwork closely with the rest of the Talent Acquisition team and thebroader People & Culture team to continously uplift the firm'srecruitment processes and systems and ensure that the firm hasaccess to high quality and diverse talent pools acrossAustralia.The TalentAcquisition team manage the end-to-end recruitment function for allroles across all offices of the firm (excluding partner level andearly careers recruitment). This role will act as an ambassador ofHW and is instrumental in building the profile and brand of thefirm nationally through liaising with candidates and externalagencies and service providers.Yourresponsibilities will include:takingjob briefs from internal stakeholders;draftingposition descriptions and job advertisements;considering and advisingon appropriate recruitment sources;briefingexternal recruitment agencies, as and whenappropriate;scheduling interviews,including meeting room and MS Teams bookings;attending and leadinginterviews, alongside other firm representatives;collating and providingfeedback to candidates;recommending andnegotiating remuneration, in consultation with the broaderPeople & Culture team;makingverbal and written offers;workingwith the rest of the People & Culture team to manage anyinternal mobility / recruitment where appropriate;ensuringthat Hiring Partners and Managers are kept informed of theprogress of recruitment campaigns, including escalating anyissues to the Talent Acquisition or People & CultureManagers;proactively using directsourcing methods with a view to reducing recruitmentspend;researching and creatingmarket maps/LinkedIn searches for specific vacancies and makingtargeted approaches to selected candidates after consultationwith Hiring Partners/Managers;buildingand managing relationships and service from recruitmentagencies, including ensuring they are equipped to represent ourfirm when liaising with candidates;managingrelationships with service providers, including LinkedIn, Seek,the applicant tracking system (ATS), Insource andothers;projectwork related to the implementation of the new ATS, includingreviewing processes and the use of technology and systems inall recruitment activities and interactions;co-ownership of the ATS,including utilising the ATS to its full capability to manageall recruitment;workingwith People & Culture Co-ordinators to generate employmentoffers and any other relevant documentation;post-acceptance ofoffers, handing over candidates to People & Culture /Learning & Development to initiate onboarding processes andinduction; andadvisingon and devising appropriate recruitment policies, processes,documentation and collateral.AboutyouYou willideally have the following skills and experience:ideallya minimum of three years of experience in a specialist legalrecruitment role, either in-house within a law firm or within alegal recruitment agency;provenexperience in end-to-end recruitment within a legal orprofessional services environment;experience usingLinkedIn Recruiter and/or other social media tools andapplicant tracking systems;advancedinterviewing skills, including experience interviewingcandidates with a legal background;a strongclient (internal stakeholder) service focus andcommercial/business acumen;outstanding attention todetail;excellent organisationalskills and experience in managing a large number of roles andcompeting priorities and demands;excellent verbal andwritten communication skills, with the ability to developrapport and build strong relationships withstakeholders;theability to think outside of the box and adopt new and creativesearch methodologies;a teamplayer who enjoys working co-operatively as part of acollegiate team, and can also work autonomously;andstrongethics and integrity and the ability to maintain a high levelof confidentiality.AboutusHall &Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
