Overview
One of our highly regarded Federal Government Clients are looking for a talented Senior Tester to be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of windows applications. Your role will be designing, building and maintaining manual test cases to validate the functionality of the platforms and applications.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates must be Australian Citizens to be found suitable. Those with Federal Government clearancesare encouraged to apply.
Key duties and responsibilities
Develop andmaintaina comprehensive test strategy covering functional,and accessibility testing
Define and implement manual test processes aligned with agile development practices
Conduct manual testingandexploratory testing
Validate business requirements to ensure alignment with delivered functionality
Execute test plans and regression suites to ensure high quality releases
Provide clear and actionable test reports to stakeholders, highlighting risks and quality metrics.
Candidates with the following skills and experiences areencouraged to apply.
Demonstrated experience in manual testing Extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining test cases in Windows SOE testing.
Strong understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Katalon, Selenium or similar)
Proven ability to conduct manual testing Hands-on experience using tools like Azure DevOps or similar platforms
Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams Ability to embed quality practices into Agile workflows and practices
