Site Supervisor
I am working with a well-established QLD based, construction company delivering quality projects across Far North Queensland. Due to continued growth, I am seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their Cairns-based team and support the delivery of residential and commercial projects.
This role suits a hands‐on supervisor who takes pride in site organisation, safety and workmanship, and enjoys working closely with trades and project teams.
The Role >As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day‐to‐day supervision of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Responsibilities
* Daily supervision of site works and subcontractors
* Coordinate trades, materials and deliveries
* Ensure works are completed in line with programme and drawings
* Maintain high standards of site safety, quality and housekeeping
* Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
* Identify and resolve on‐site issues
* Liaise with Project Managers, clients and consultants as required
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or Foreman
* Strong trade background (carpentry or similar highly regarded)
* Solid understanding of construction sequencing
* Good communication and skills
* Strong commitment to safety and quality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant tickets, licenses and construction qualifications preferred
