About the Role
Based in Perth, our specialist pipeline team delivers innovative overland and tailings pipeline projects across Australia and internationally. With a strong pipeline of work ahead, we are looking for a talented Pipeline Designer to help shape the future of mining infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Develop pipeline alignments and layouts for a variety of pipeline projects, typically within the mining industry.
Prepare detailed design and drafting deliverables using industry-standard tools and GIS systems.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines.
Ensure design accuracy and consistency with project standards, survey or other GIS data, and client expectations.
Qualifications
Ability to work within a 3D environment and across several office design project setups (server, cloud, SharePoint).
Exposure to map projections.
Ability to problem-solve and contribute to projects to improve efficiency and exceed client expectations.
Experience in pipeline or piping design, including layout development.
Proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD Civil 3D (or similar design software).
Technical Design degree or equivalent qualification.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Previous experience in mining, gas or heavy industry projects is highly desirable.
