Hospital Operations Manager
The Hospital Operations Manager plays a pivotal role within our Clinical Services team, overseeing hospital operations, patient flow, and resource allocation while maintaining a strong consumer focus and supporting high-quality care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate day-to-day hospital operations to ensure safe and efficient service delivery
* Manage patient flow and bed allocation across the health service
* Act as Emergency Coordinator for all codes and ensure appropriate escalation to Executive on call
* Maintain adequate nursing and medical staffing levels through consultation and redeployment
* Provide leadership and act as a resource for staff, supporting professional development and wellbeing
* Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and professional standards
* Complete administrative tasks and participate in emergency drills during rostered shifts
About You:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with current registration as Division 1 with AHPRA, minimum five years recent acute clinical experience, and at least two years in a leadership or management role. Ideal candidates will have strong organisational, communication, and critical thinking skills, ability to manage complex situations, prioritise effectively, and maintain situational awareness.
