A Southern SA hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from 02/02/2026 to 24/04/2026. Commencing 08:00 Monday, 2 February 2026 - 12 February 2026 Commencing 08:00 Tuesday, 3 February 2026 – 24 April 2026 Rates for this period are $2,000 per day shift and $2,300 per day for 24 hour on call period. These rates are inclusive of all call backs and penalties. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department in consultation with the responsible consultants, registrars, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals. The incumbent will be required to attend elective and emergency theatre operating sessions on a scheduled basis. They will also be required to undertake appropriate pre-admission, pre-operative assessment and preparation of patients for theatre. The incumbent will also provide post-operative care of patients in liaison with the operating specialist anaesthetist and other medical or surgical specialists as required.
