We are currently looking for a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team as a Chef de Partie.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentation, responsible for preparing and plating dishes across breakfast and lunch menus.
* Support Head and Sous Chefs with tasks including line cooking, food preparation and maintaining high levels of sanitation compliance.
* Contribute to menu planning, estimate food costs and oversee the ordering of supplies.
* Monitor dish quality during preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every meal.
* Collaborate with Head Chef on food preparation and menu planning with kitchen staff, managers and dietician.
* Demonstrate advanced culinary techniques, advise on cooking procedures and prepare/cook food to the highest standard.
* Enforce strict hygiene regulations and assist with training/staff development.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant culinary role.
* Hold all necessary industry certifications.
* Up-to-date knowledge of current food trends and culinary innovations.
* Excellent communication skills and customer service focus, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
* Ability to work a 5-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
* Australian working rights and a valid visa (if applicable).
