Cascada is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or experienced drafter looking for a hands‐on role in precast concrete and quality control.
Cascada Group manufactures and supplies a range of precast concrete products to the infrastructure, construction, and mining sectors, throughout Western Australia. Our clients include mining companies, engineers, construction companies, builders, plumbers, electricians, and architects.
The successful applicant will become a member of a supportive team with plenty of assistance and training in product knowledge and company processes.
The Role
The draftsperson is responsible for producing high quality and accurate construction drawings, shop drawings and schematics. The successful applicant will create both 2D and 3D renderings of our extensive range of standard products as well as bespoke products designed to meet customer specifications.
Responsibilities
* Primarily, you will create CAD drawings of precast concrete products for sales and production.
* You will interpret requests for drawings from sales via customer supplied plans and develop the associated production drawings.
* Manage and control all drawings, associated documentation and project data.
* Liaise with a wide range of people including managers, engineers, sales, and production staff.
* You will gain experience in manufacturing related activities particularly quality control.
* You will have the opportunity to work as a part of a fast paced team involved with significant civil and mining projects across the state.
Requirements
* 1-2 years practical experience using AutoCAD.
* Skilled at drawing quickly and accurately with an eye for detail.
* Experience with reinforcement detailing will be highly regarded.
