About the Role
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the business's financial operations. Reporting to senior management, you'll handle the full spectrum of accounting duties while ensuring smooth and accurate financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily accounts in Xero
* Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and superannuation
* Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cashflow
* Assist with BAS, PAYG, and month-end reporting
* Support budgeting and project cost tracking
* Maintain efficient and compliant financial systems
About You
* Proven accounting or bookkeeping experience (construction industry advantageous)
* Strong knowledge of Xero and Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident working both autonomously and as part of a small, close-knit team
