Job Summary

The Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administration Officer to support the Nursing Unit Manager/Nurse Manager of ICU/PICU within our Executive Intensive Care Unit.


About the Role

* We are looking for someone with exceptional administrative skills to provide comprehensive support to the NUM/NM of ICU/PICU.


Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to the NUM/NM of ICU/PICU.
* Assist with rostering, recruitment processes, and workforce coordination.
* Complete audit and data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Coordinate education sessions, training courses, and professional development activities for nursing staff.
* Deliver professional reception and front-of-house services for the unit.
* Support the broader executive administration team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Requirements

* You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
