Job Overview
This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of $77,000-$80,000 per annum, plus superannuation, based in Prahran, VIC, Australia. The role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Beauty Therapist to deliver a wide range of professional beauty treatments while ensuring high standards of hygiene, customer service, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Providing a range of beauty services including manicures, spa pedicures, acrylic nails, builder gel, SNS/dip powder, and Gel X extensions.
* Performing basic beauty treatments such as waxing (face and body), eyebrow shaping, and lash/brow tinting.
* Consulting with clients to assess their needs and recommend suitable treatments.
* Maintaining a high standard of customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
* Preparing and sanitising tools and workstations in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
* Managing appointment bookings, handling client enquiries, and assisting with front desk duties where required.
* Maintaining cleanliness of the salon and treatment areas.
* Keeping up to date with current beauty trends, techniques, and products.
* Assisting with stock management and reporting low inventory.
* Performing additional duties as reasonably required by the employer.
Job Requirements
* Relevant qualification in Beauty Therapy (Certificate III/IV in Beauty Therapy or equivalent).
* Minimum 2–3 years of relevant full‐time experience as a Beauty Therapist.
* Strong knowledge of skincare, nail care, and beauty treatment techniques.
* Understanding of hygiene, infection control, and Australian health regulations.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to perform treatments with precision and attention to detail.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Professional presentation and positive attitude.
