**Job Title:** Senior Civil Engineer Job Description The City is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead the assessment of development applications and contribute to shaping infrastructure outcomes across the city. As a key member of the Engineering and Landscape Assessment (ELA) Business Unit, you will work closely with planning, infrastructure, and asset management teams to ensure integrated and informed decision-making. You will be responsible for delivering timely and high-quality engineering assessments of development applications, with a focus on infrastructure planning, civil design, stormwater management, and other relevant disciplines. You will also review engineering documentation, technical reports, and development proposals to ensure solution-focused outcomes aligned with legislative frameworks, planning schemes, and organisational and engineering standards. In this role, you will provide expert engineering advice and solutions to internal stakeholders, applicants, and external consultants, including participation in prelodgement and technical discussions.
