About the Role


As the Day Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring events are resourced accurately and efficiently.

Reporting to the Associate and Operations Manager, and working closely with the sales and operations teams, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and adjusting staff rosters to meet event requirements. This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

* Creating and managing staff rosters to ensure appropriate labour coverage
* Managing day to day roster changes, shift adjustments, and short-notice issues
* Liaising with operations, sales, and crew to align resourcing with event needs
* Maintaining accurate scheduling records and workforce data


About You


You are organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You communicate clearly and enjoy being the link between people, schedules, and operations.

You will bring:

* Strong communication skills and professional presentation
* A solutions focused approach to problem solving
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* A methodical approach to planning and scheduling
* Confidence working with team members at all levels


Desirable Experience

* Previous experience in rostering, scheduling, or workforce coordination
* Experience in events, audiovisual, or technical production environments
* Familiarity with rostering or workforce management software
