ITG is a Joint-Ventures between Trafigura and IFM investment fund, owning and operating various assets such as ports, terminals and multimodal logistics assets chains in export driven emerging markets for both liquid and dry cargos. It operates as well several assets (owned by Trafigura) under a management service.
Main Purpose:
This role is located at Kwinana, WA and is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the terminal, with key duties and expectations including:
* Providing technical support and diagnosis of system faults to minimize downtime
* Assisting with product receipt, storage and handling operations
* Training and supporting driver loading and unloading operations
* Overseeing product blending, transfer and load-out procedures
* Conducting terminal inspections and maintenance
* Strong focus on HSE, reliability, product quality and customer service
* Emergency response
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in the safe operation of a fuel storage facility, or similar industrial site experience;
* The willingness and ability to work shift work;
* Knowledge of relevant industry engineering and safety standards;
* A Manual open driver's license;
* A Forklift license;
* Computer skills including competency in Microsoft Office;
* Strong analytical skills and be an effective communicator; and
* Drive to make improvements and be flexible, self-motivated and a team player.
As a preference, though not essential, you will have:
* Experience in automated control systems
* Experience in vessel unloading operations
* First Aid certification.
