Acting Assistant Principal – fixed term (May 2026 – end of 2026 school year) at Siena Catholic College, Sippy Downs, Queensland. The role supports organisational and human‐resources functions at school level.

Responsibilities
* Maintain the College timetable and manage daily organisational needs, including teacher replacements.
* Oversee all organisational aspects across the College, including risk assessments, excursion processes, compliance and staff meeting schedules.
* Support human‐resources functions such as professional development, staffing changes and the overall HR & Organisational support for the school.
* Assist the Principal in building the religious life of the school, promoting a vibrant Catholic identity, and enhancing student engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing.
* Contribute to sustainability and stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance.
Qualifications
* Experience as an Assistant Principal, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus, Principal or comparable senior role in Catholic schools.
* Experience in teaching and leading the teaching of religious education.
* Strong background in educational leadership, strategic planning, staff development and fostering a positive school culture.
* Ability to integrate Catholic values and faith‐based initiatives into the school environment.
* Evidence of implementing innovative teaching practices, curriculum development and student outcome improvement aligned with AITSL standards.
Eligibility and Safeguarding Requirements
* Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
* Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
* Required to be Catholic or a faith partner of one of BCE's ecumenical schools.
* Compliance with all child‐safety standards, including background checks and child‐protection requirements for staff with direct contact with children.
