What is your role?
Your role as the BIM Lead (Senior BIM Designer) is to guide, support, and empower the team of BIM Designers, ensuring seamless BIM processes and successful project delivery. In this role you'll oversee design workflows, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold BIM standards and protocols. You'll drive team performance, encourage innovation, offer technical expertise, and meet project milestones while continuously enhancing digital design practices and nurturing a collaborative, inclusive team environment. You'll lead developing and maintaining BIM execution plans specific to data centre projects, ensuring alignment with client and industry standards. You'll also lead design reviews and coordination meetings, contributing to improved digital delivery outcomes.

About You
* Experience: 10+ years as a BIM Designer/Modeller/BIM Lead in building services. Previous exposure to data centres or large, complex infrastructure projects will be highly regarded.
* Leadership: 5+ years' experience in management of multi-disciplinary BIM teams.
* Technical skills: Proficiency in Revit is essential; experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Forma (Autodesk Construction Cloud) is a plus.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with Australian Standards, NCC, and critical electrical systems in large-scale or mission-critical facilities.
* Attention to detail: A strong eye for documentation quality, design intent, and model integrity.
* Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work closely with engineers, architects, and clients.
