Position Details:
We're searching for a passionate and skilled Bakery Chefs, pastry chefs and bakery assistants to bring their expertise to our talented team. As a member of Darling Group, you'll contribute to creating remarkable culinary experiences in a setting that thrives on innovation, quality, and teamwork.
Our bakers play an essential role in delivering high-quality, consistent products and supporting daily operations. If you have a meticulous eye for detail, love working in a fast-paced environment, and have a commitment to excellence, we'd love to meet you.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Previous viennoiserie experience
* Shaping & baking experience
* Sourdough- dough making, shaping and baking
* Brioche - dough making, shaping and baking
* Focaccia - dough making, shaping and baking
* Sophisticated communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team
* Passionate about food, people, hospitality and experiences
* Strong organisation skills with the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Understands and complies with OH&S standards and food safety requirements
* Excellent team player with a high level of motivation and drive
* Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.
* Relevant Qualifications (cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery)
