Equipment Technician Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. This is a permanent position working 8 days on, 6 days off roster, FIFO from Perth.
This role is for applicants residing in or willing to permanently relocate to Western Australia. We offer Fly in and fly out options from Perth.
You will be required to:
* Complete corrective and breakdown maintenance to a variety of heavy and light mobile vehicles and equipment within the fleet.
* Conduct scheduled workshop servicing and occasional field service breakdowns
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
* Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all company policies and procedures
* Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects – increasing safety whilst reducing risk & cost
* Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned, and completed to the relevant standard / specification
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
* A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
* A Light Vehicle, Heavy-Duty or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification
* Excellent diagnostic fault-finding abilities
* Experienced maintaining a large variety of heavy and medium Volvo, Scania and/or Isuzu trucks, light vehicles and ancillary vehicles
* A Manual C Class Australian Drivers Licence or higher is essential
* A good understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar highly regarded
* Ability to work cooperatively in small team, demonstrating flexibility to business requirements
* Full Australian working rights without requiring business sponsorship
