Financial Controller (Technical)

This is a prime opportunity for an ambitious manager or senior manager with robust technical accounting experience ready to step into a pivotal, hands-on leadership role.
About the Role: As Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for:
* Leading monthly/annual management and statutory reporting in compliance with AASB and specific industry standards.
* Managing general ledger, group consolidations, and preparing statutory accounts, coordinating with external auditors.
* Ensuring APRA, ASIC, and tax compliance (BAS, FBT, income tax).
* Maintaining and enhancing robust internal controls and financial processes for optimal policy adherence and efficiency.
* Preparing and managing budgets; conducting financial analysis to drive strategic decisions.
* Delivering insightful financial information to senior executives and key business stakeholders.
* Overseeing day-to-day finance operations, including sales performance, provisioning, impairment calculations, payroll, and reconciliations.
* Supporting product pricing, profitability reporting, and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
* Leading a Finance Manager and team, fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and performance.
Your Profile:
* CA/CPA qualified with experience in financial control or audit
* Strong technical expertise in accounting standards and ASX reporting requirements
* Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills
