Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician or Automotive Electrician to join our team in Thebarton, South Australia.
Responsibilities
Perform vehicle inspections to a high standard, including road tests, ensuring all vehicles return to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications using OEM Scan Tools and aftermarket diagnostic equipment and software. Diagnose, repair, calibrate, code and program components such as LED Matrix and Laser Spot lighting, Supplemental Restraint System (SRS), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Radar, Camera, LiDAR, Electronic Steering, Pedestrian Protection, Body Electrics, and more.
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent).
* Minimum of 5 years' industry experience with a Main Dealer or recognised aftermarket background (desirable).
* Demonstrated ability to inspect and diagnose vehicles to OEM standards.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence (Class C) with clean driving record; prior experience driving a Long Wheel Based Vehicle.
* Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) accreditation is highly desirable.
