Reporting to Operations Manager, the position includes the following responsibilities:
* Effective & efficient planning and scheduling of pickups & deliveries to meet required delivery dates.
* Monitoring and supporting activities of drivers and standard of vehicles to ensure SCT and customer expectation are achieved.
* Ensure all Drivers are compliant regarding fatigue management, vehicle defect reports and relevant legislative requirements.
* Allocation of drivers for scheduled pickups.
* Allocating Loscam, CHEP freight pallets for delivery & recording of such details to ensure compliance with traceability for reconciliation purposes.
* Finalisation of the Fleet utilisation spreadsheet is to be completed daily
* The DNDO screen is to be updated daily to accurately reflect the position of every sales order
* The DNDI screen is to be updated daily to accurately reflect the position of every sales orde
* The daily update of fatigue management systems and reporting of non- conformances
* Shipment reporting is to be completed in full, daily.
* All backloads are to be made up in advance and communicated to the relevant Managers and Supervisors, including correct equipment allocations.
* Data entry using SAP and scanning
