About the Opportunity
The Equity Team Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for delivering and evaluating clinical education programs in consultation with Management, Nurse & Midwifery Educators and Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Consultants, to support the delivery of clinical best practice, patient service and enhanced patient outcomes for pregnant women with complex needs.

Where You'll Be Working
SWSLHD Primary & Community Health provides a comprehensive range of community‑based services designed to improve and maintain the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities across South Western Sydney.

These services include prevention, early intervention, assessment, acute and post‑acute treatment, health maintenance, and continuing care. The team supports diverse populations, offering specialised programmes for children, young people, older adults, and at‑risk communities.

With over 800 dedicated staff, including Aboriginal Health Workers, nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals, the service ensures high‑quality care close to where people live.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.

* Current Nursing registration National Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA), and relevant postgraduate qualifications related to the specialty area of Child and Family Health, with at least 3 years recent clinical experience working with children and their families or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate.
* Demonstrated understanding of and experience providing evidence‑based health promotion, assessment, prevention and early intervention services to children and their families, particularly those experiencing vulnerabilities.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem solve through the development of clinical management plans in consultation with health and social services.
* Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision‑making, and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and within an interagency context to provide high quality integrated care to children and families.
* Applicants must possess an Australian C‑Class driver's licence (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class licence (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) licence within three months of appointment. Learner's licences are not permitted.
