About the role
WA Limestone is seeking experienced loader operators to operate CAT 972, CAT 966 & CAT 980 Loaders in our Blue Metal quarry in the Byford area. Applicants must be experienced in this practice and will be required to go straight into this role.
Responsibilities
* Operate CAT 972, CAT 966 & CAT 980 loaders.
* Load trucks with correct weights, including Road-trains & Semi-Trailers.
* Load semi trailers and road train combinations.
* Feed crushers and screens.
* Carry out other duties as required within a quarry environment.
Qualifications and requirements
* Recent experience in operating CAT 966/CAT 972/CAT 980 (H/M) loaders.
* Ability to load trucks with correct weights, including Road-trains & Semi-Trailers.
* Proficiency with Load Rite/Scales system is ESSENTIAL.
* Experience in feeding crushers and screens.
* Recent experience operating other machinery will be highly regarded.
* Hold a valid WA Drivers Licence.
* Must have relevant Australian recognised tickets.
* Strong safety awareness and commitment to workplace safety and working effectively within a team environment.
* Will work unsupervised in a team environment.
* MUST pass full medical check.
* Competent and qualified to operate CAT Loaders: CAT 980/966 Loaders.
* A current drug & alcohol screen and pre-employment medical prior to offer of employment may be required.
