What is my position?

Tradesperson

Who do I report to?

Leading Hand on duty

What is the purpose of my position?

To contribute to the growth and profitability of the Company wherever possible, though improving customer satisfaction and Company reputation. To be successful in this role requires completing all required functions accurately and on time. As an employee, I have the duty to cooperate with the employer in the implementation of the employer's safety systems, ensuring reasonable care for the health and safety of myself and any person who is under my control.

What is my mission when doing my job?

By using my varied knowledge and providing coverage in the variety of functions required of the role, I will significantly contribute to the effective and efficient operations of Eagle Farm Workshop.

What do I need to achieve this?

Ability to quickly learn Company procedures, policies and systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team

Initiative when working unsupervised

Ability to delegate work

Excellent oral and written communication

Excellent time management and organisational skills

High level of attention to detail

Follow instructions and apply practical judgement

Ability to apply knowledge and applications of safety standards

Ability to provide quality customer service both internally and externally

Knowledge of spare parts

Mechanical knowledge

Ability to attend to breakdowns unsupervised

Good knowledge of Detroit motors, Eaton and Rockwell differentials

Good knowledge and understanding of differentials and gearboxes

Good knowledge of electrics and air conditioning systems

Air conditioning certificate and accreditation (Air Conditioning Tradespersons)

Sound knowledge of auto electrics

Excellent diagnostic skills

What would be helpful to have to achieve this?

Motor Vehicle Licence — HR, C Class

Relevant trade qualification

First Aid

Basic Computer knowledge

* Comply with any lawful safety direction, instruction or training
