About the Role
INAN AUTO PTY LTD is seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our busy
automotive workshop on a full-time basis. This is an ongoing role involving the diagnosis, repair,
servicing, and maintenance of light vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and
Australian safety standards
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Detecting, diagnosing, and repairing faults in engines, mechanical systems, and vehicle
components
Dismantling, removing, and inspecting engine assemblies, transmissions, steering
mechanisms, and related parts
Repairing or replacing worn or defective components and reassembling mechanical systems
Performing scheduled maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, engine tune- ups, and general servicing.
Reassembling engines and vehicle parts following repairs
Testing and adjusting repaired mechanical components to ensure proper performance
Using diagnostic tools and computer-based systems to identify and test faults
Ensuring vehicles meet safety, performance, and emission standards
Inspecting vehicles and identifying work required to achieve roadworthiness
Skills & and Experience:
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
Ideally have a minimum of one year's experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
The ability to work in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Auburn NSW 2144: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
* Mechanic: 4 years (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driver Licence (Preferred)
Work Authorisation:
* Australia (Preferred)
