We have an opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant who possesses strong communication, analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills. Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director and the Senior Operations & Sales Manager, you will gain deep insights into the business and its mechanics. The key focus areas for the role include but are not limited to:
* End to end payroll processing including superannuation and payroll tax.
* End to end receivable/payable functions.
* BAS, IAS and payroll tax preparation and lodgment.
* Monthly reconciliation of all accounts.
* Inventory management and cost analyses.
* Management of bank facilities including multicurrency payments/transactions.
* Create and monitor budgets and manage cash flow.
* Monthly financial reporting and analyses.
* Preparation and presentation of financials to the Executive.
* Liaison with a variety of stakeholders and key personnel.
The position would suit an experienced professional with an expert understanding of accounting programs specifically MYOB AccountRight, who is committed to their own professional development and adding value to our company.
Skills and experience
* A degree in accounting.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
* Expert at the use of Excel.
* Advanced knowledge of MYOB AccountRight, features, functions and processes.
* Competent in managing inventory with MYOB and warehouse management systems is highly desirable.
* Knowledgeable on legislative requirements relating to tax, superannuation, BAS and related matters highly regarded.
