About the Role
We are looking for a Site Supervisor (on the tools) to support our Brisbane area where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects. This full‐time position requires hands‐on expertise, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes to ensure the seamless delivery of high‐quality projects.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supervise and coordinate the work of construction teams to meet project timelines and quality standards
* Work on the tools as a carpenter
* Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team members
* Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on site
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimise construction processes
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the project
* Travel across Greater Melbourne and occasional regional work
What We're Looking For
* Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
* Industry White Card (former Red Card acceptable)
* Full Victorian (or recognised equivalent) Driver's Licence
* Access to a full kit of reliable trade appropriate tools inclusive of vehicle that can carry materials
* Extensive carpentry or other equivalent trade experience
* Demonstrated experience supervising/managing construction projects, including overseeing multiple trades across multiple sites simultaneously
* Strong understanding of the end‐to‐end build process
* Ability to prioritise and schedule work, manage a diary and work to tight timeframes
* Strong understanding of OHS site requirements
* Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to achieve excellent work quality
