We're on the lookout for a Cook to join our team at The Beach House Restaurant & Bar.
Ingenia's Beach House Restaurant & Bar is in One Mile, offering a relaxed coastal vibe and a close-knit team environment perfect for hospitality professionals who love making every guest feel at home.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality meals using fresh, local ingredients. You'll be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and supporting smooth service during busy periods. This position is casual, with extra hours able to be picked up during peak seasons / part time.

In this Role, You'll
* Prepare and serve meals to a high standard using fresh, local ingredients, while minimising waste and following menu guidelines.
* Order, receive, and rotate stock efficiently, ensuring quality control and compliance with food safety standards.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area, including equipment, surfaces, and floors.
* Work respectfully and effectively with team members, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
* Follow all WHS and food safety procedures, including audits, chemical handling, and accurate record-keeping.
You're Likely a Match If You
* Have previous food safety training and a solid understanding of HACCP principles.
* Have experience in food preparation and cooking, with strong communication and basic budgeting skills.
* Are a proactive, respectful team player who takes feedback well and contributes to a positive work environment.
* Manage time effectively, stay responsive under pressure, and maintain high standards in everything you do.
* Are comfortable with lifting, standing for long periods, and using kitchen equipment and cleaning products safely with PPE.
You're someone who brings energy, ideas, and a genuine passion for making a difference. You love working with people, solving problems, and creating moments that matter.
