Natalie B Paediatric Occupational Therapy is a group of occupational therapists situated in Wantirna South. We strive to assist families and children to achieve their greatest potential.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced receptionist with strong knowledge of Halaxy practice management software as well as experience processing NDIS and Medicare payments. This role involves a wide range of reception and administrative duties, supporting parents, children, patients, referrers, clinicians, and management.

Responsibilities include:
- Representing the practice as the first point of contact
- Greeting clients and visitors at reception
- Answering incoming calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Booking client appointments, creating files, and processing billings through Halaxy
- Managing NDIS and Medicare payments and claims
- Liaising with clients regarding appointments and inquiries
- Updating and maintaining client files, including preparing new files and scanning documents
- Preparing and managing electronic and hard copy documents, and archiving closed files
- Processing client payments and ensuring all daily admin processes are completed
- Ensuring reception and clinic areas remain clean, organised, and presentable
About You 
- Prior experience using Halaxy is essential
- Demonstrated knowledge of NDIS and Medicare payment processes
- Working with Children Check
- Previous experience in a health clinic or similar customer-facing role is highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Professional personal presentation
- Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team
- Excellent prioritisation, organisation, and planning skills
- Solid attention to detail and flexibility
