Senior Employment Lawyer to join a full-service Australian law firm with a strong mid‐market client base and collaborative culture.
Location: Open to Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane
Working pattern: 4–5 days per week, with 1–2 days per week in the office as required
About The Role
* Provide general employment law advisory support to a broad range of clients across multiple industries
* Advise on workplace matters including performance management, disciplinary processes, terminations, and employee relations issues
* Support and manage employment and safety related litigation matters
* Work closely with partners and senior stakeholders on strategic employment matters
* Deliver practical, commercially focused advice in a private practice environment
* Contribute to a collaborative and high performing team during a period of increased workflow
About You
* 8+ years post qualification experience in employment law
* Strong background in general employment advisory work
* Experience in safety and employment litigation (preferred)
* Experience gained in a reputable law firm or similar workplace
* Ability to hit the ground running and manage matters with minimal supervision
* Strong stakeholder engagement and client management skills
* Pragmatic and commercially minded, with excellent communication skills
