You'll be a technically astute Business Analyst joining this Data Platforms team, supporting the delivery of cloud-native data solutions across the enterprise. You'll play a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technical execution, translating requirements and enabling scalable, compliant data architectures using Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue.
Key Responsibilities;
* Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for data platform initiatives
* Work alongside data engineers and architects to shape solution designs and ensure alignment with business goals
* Analyse source systems, data flows, and transformation logic to support ETL/ELT development and integration
* Develop and maintain artefacts including BRDs, functional specs, data dictionaries, and mapping documents
* Support testing and validation of data pipelines, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and performance
* Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and backlog grooming with cross-functional teams
* Ensure solutions comply with relevant regulatory and security frameworks
To succeed in the role you will have;
* Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in data-centric projects
* Strong understanding of Snowflake, AWS S3, and AWS Glue (hands-on exposure preferred)
* Ability to interpret and analyse complex datasets, schemas, and transformation logic
* Experience with SQL for data profiling, validation, and analysis
* Familiarity with Agile delivery, JIRA/Confluence, and CI/CD environments
* Excellent communication skills-able to translate technical detail into business values
* Exposure to other AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Athena, Redshift)
* Experience in financial services, government, or other regulated industries
