About The Role
Our Project Managers are central to the successful delivery of projects and programs across the organisation focusing on cyber security. In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, develop and manage detailed work plans, achieve key milestones, and communicate progress and outcomes to sponsors and stakeholders. You will take end‐to‐end ownership of your projects, from initiation through to successful completion, ensuring alignment with Project Management Standards while delivering within agreed time, budget, scope, and resource constraints.
As a Senior Project Manager for Cyber and IT Operations, you will typically lead medium to large initiatives or work alongside Program Managers on complex, large‐scale programs. You will deliver both technology and business projects in line with BOQ methodology and practices, taking accountability for scope, schedule, financial, quality, people, communications, risk, procurement, vendor, stakeholder, and governance management. Your integrated and holistic approach will ensure projects are effectively directed, managed, monitored, and controlled at all times.
From time to time, you may also contribute beyond core project responsibilities by supporting business case development, organising and facilitating workshops or events, and assisting in areas such as testing, architecture, or procurement. You will also play a role in uplifting capability across the Project Management community, sharing your expertise and helping to build strong, consistent project delivery practices across the organisation.
About You
You are an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex cyber technology and business initiatives. You have led large, multidisciplinary teams of 30+ people and managed significant budgets of $6M or more, often across multiple initiatives running in parallel. Comfortable operating in fast‐paced environments, you bring strong technical project management expertise and are adept at delivering waterfall projects, agile SAFe initiatives, and BAU enhancements while meeting non‐negotiable timeframes.
You bring deep experience in Cyber Security and Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects, with exposure to tools such as SailPoint, CyberArk, and Azure SSO highly regarded. You have strong knowledge of structured project management methodologies, the systems development lifecycle, and ITIL principles, supported by a recognised project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent). With experience working with IT Operations, external vendors, and IT service providers, you are confident driving change across large, dispersed teams and environments, using tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Office 365 to enable successful delivery.
