**Position Information**:
Gordon West Public School is located in the Metropolitan North Operational Directorate with a student population of 431 students. 65% of students have English as an additional language or dialect.

**Selection Criteria**:
- Approval to teach students with learning and support needs Primary and/or experience teaching students with learning and support needs Primary in regular classes.
- Capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.
- Demonstrated ability to work with classroom teachers and parents or carers to identify specific learning and support needs to create adjustments for learning (including high potential and gifted students, students with learning and/or behavioural difficulties and/or EAL/D students) that support improved educational outcomes.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders, including students, teachers, learning support officers, parents and health care providers to ensure individual student learning needs are met.
- Knowledge and capacity to collaboratively plan, organise, monitor and evaluate learning and support documentation across the school for students with a range of learning needs.
