We are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual to join our growing New Zealand team as Practitioner Education Consultant & Territory Manager.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Activated Probiotics has built an international reputation for delivering the highest quality education on probiotic science and research. As a Practitioner Education Consultant (PEC) and Territory Manager, you will serve as the face of the Activated Probiotic brand within and around Wellington, and the south island. Your primary charge will be to develop and deliver professional product training to healthcare practitioners such as pharmacists, naturopaths, physicians, nurses, and nutritionists/dieticians. You will be a key contributor to our brand growth and development strategy by providing the highest quality education and customer service to existing and prospective accounts within your territory.
ABOUT YOUR TEAM
This position reports directly to the Commercial Manager and Director of Education, who are based out of our home office on Wurundjeri land, in Melbourne, Australia. You will also be an integral part of a dynamic and growing team of over 20 international PECs, based across three continents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Proactively identify, nurture, and manage Activated Probiotics brand advocates across the integrative pharmacy and health practitioner channels to secure their engagement and recommendation of the Activated Probiotics range
* Perform brand and product training within your territory, maintaining Activated Probiotics' reputation for educational excellence
* Monitor brand success and awareness within territory
* Manage call cycles across accounts to ensure KPIs are met
* Liaise with local distributor reps to support Activated Probiotics education and brand awareness
* Attend educational and other evening meetings that are considered part of daily activities
* Develop an in-depth understanding of Activated Probiotics practitioner compliance guidelines and advise Commercial Manager on non-compliant accounts
* Ensure appropriate care for all company assets, such as educational IP
* Represent the Activated Probiotics brand in a professional, trustworthy and knowledgeable manner at all times
* Ensure that all activities comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
* Minimum 3 years of territory management experience in an account manager or similar role within the healthcare sector
* Excellent knowledge of human physiology
* Confidence in providing highly technical science education to diverse audiences
* Exceptional ability to build and nurture professional relationships
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency in G-Suite (required) and NetSuite or equivalent CRM (preferred)
* Valid New Zealand driver's license and vehicle
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Healthcare practitioner (e.g., naturopath, pharmacist, nurse)
* Knowledge and passion for microbiome science
